ITen years ago, Steve Benbow wanted to have bees in the centre of London but he had a problem: he lived on the 6th floor of a building without garden a stone's throw from the Tower Bridge. The only possible space for the hives was the roof, reached by a fire escape. He set up his first hive and the honey production was amazing. Within a few years, he became the most famous urban beekeeper in London and a professional beekeeper who owns nearly 850 hives and migrates with them throughout England.
