The Banas are shepherds. They are part of an ethnic group related to the Hamers and Karaq. They have the practice of placing their hives, made of hollowed out trunks, on the branches of the big acacia trees.///Les Banas sont des pasteurs. Il s’agit d’une ethnie apparentée aux Hamers et aux Karas. Ils ont l’habitude d’installer leurs ruches, faites dans des troncs évidés, sur les branches de grands acacias.
