At the foot of Mount Canigou (France), pink peach trees spread all the way to the foothills of the Pyrenees. In the area, fruit trees bloom in succession: almond trees early in February, followed by apricot and peach trees until mid-March. Fruit trees bloom over a short period of time and their pollination by insects is necessary to obtain quality fruit.
