Honey Bee Rhododendron Flower1.tif
A forager at work on a rhododendron flower. On a flight, the bee will visit only one plant species but can visit as many as 500 flowers. Foragers mark their flowery territory by depositing a substance which will repel bees from other colonies on flowers they visit.
