Joe Palmer, 33 years old, is a musician by training and started beekeeping three years ago after meeting beekeepers during a trip to Albania for a film shoot for National Geographic. She loves bees, their harmony, the complexity of their society... "their landings on the flight board and their capacity to sting when I start to think about new shoes, chocolate or anything that distances me from the present moment."
