The Danau Sentarum National Park in the province of Wes Kalimantan in Indonesia covers 132,000 hectares including 800 km2 of lakes and periodically submerged forests. With more than 3.6 meters of precipitation per year, the lakes are almost always full of water that then flows into the Kapuas River, the longest in Indonesia.
